Immersive Experience Design for a 7D Mythological Film
Spiritual stories need more than spectacle. They need atmosphere, rhythm, and a visual language that respects the source while making the experience emotionally accessible for modern audiences.
Spark VFX Studios collaborated with Folklogue Studios to develop Panchagni Vidya, a stereoscopic 7D film for a specially built theatre installation at an ashram in Bihar. The experience follows a seeker on a mythological journey toward the divine knowledge of the five fires, moving through penance, celestial encounters, and moments of spiritual revelation.
As part of Spark’s work in Projection Mapping and Immersive Experience Design, the project combined mythological storytelling, stereoscopic depth, 3D character animation, simulated fire, particles, and fluid camera movement to create a spiritual cinematic experience built for immersion.
A sacred teaching became a floating 7D journey through penance, fire, divine presence, and spiritual discovery.

Challenges
7D Mythological Film Production Challenge
The project required a mythological world that could feel devotional, cinematic, and technically immersive at the same time. Characters such as Yama and Krishna needed to carry symbolic power without losing emotional believability.
The 7D format added another layer of complexity. Camera movement had to remain fluid and enveloping, while stereoscopic depth needed to stay comfortable and consistent. Fire, particles, divine energy, and atmospheric effects had to support the story without overwhelming the spiritual tone.

Our Process
Spark VFX Studios approached the film as a spiritual journey rather than a conventional animation sequence. The team shaped the visual rhythm around the seeker’s progression: curiosity, penance, divine encounter, and revelation.
The production used stereoscopic 3D planning to control depth, camera movement, and audience orientation inside the 7D theatre. The constant floating camera style was designed to make viewers feel as if they were moving through the mythological space rather than simply watching it from outside.
Character work, atmospheric effects, fire simulations, and celestial particles were developed to support each narrative beat. The Ghor Tapasya sequence used heat, smoke, embers, and fiery energy to express intensity, while the divine manifestation scenes used light, motion, and scale to create a sense of sacred presence.
7D Mythological Experience Result and Impact
Panchagni Vidya became a specialized 7D mythological film built for an ashram theatre environment, using immersive media to make a spiritual teaching visually immediate and memorable.
The completed experience gave the audience a cinematic interpretation of the seeker’s path toward the knowledge of the five fires. Instead of presenting the concept as static instruction, the film turned it into a moving visual journey through penance, divine presence, and inner transformation.

The museum experience design work blended archival storytelling, motion graphics, visual effects, and concise historical narratives for visitors exploring India’s freedom movement and early independence.
