Concept & Writing
Developed the central premise, emotional arc, screenplay, dialogues, and character journey around the search for peace.
Anant: A Journey Towards the End is an original Hindi short film written and directed by Shivam Gupta, founder of Spark VFX Studios. The film follows Shyam, a man undertaking a desperate and deeply personal journey in search of inner peace.
Spark VFX Studios managed the project as a complete original production, covering creative development, filmmaking, editing, visual effects, poster design, trailer creation, digital marketing, and online distribution support. The work shows the studio not only as a post-production partner, but as a complete storytelling team.
The project connects with Spark’s Animation, CGI and VFX Production practice and sits alongside narrative projects such as Sarhad (Short Film) – Indie Film VFX.
The story centers on a psychological and philosophical search for peace. One of the main creative challenges was translating isolation, desperation, conflict, and hope into cinematic images without making the message overly literal.
The film also needed emotional authenticity. Performances, pacing, cinematography, editing, music, and visual effects had to support the protagonist’s state of mind while keeping the experience relatable for a wider audience.
Spark VFX Studios handled multiple connected responsibilities across production, post-production, and promotion. That required a consistent creative direction from the original idea through the final film, trailer, posters, music-video material, and digital campaign assets.
The objective was to create an emotionally resonant Hindi short film that encourages audiences to reflect on peace, purpose, and self-discovery.

Spark VFX Studios approached Anant as a complete original production rather than a narrow post-production assignment. The process began with the central emotional question of the film and carried that idea through writing, direction, cinematography, editing, visual effects, music integration, and finishing.
The film uses a reflective narrative style to place the audience inside Shyam’s experience. Periods of turmoil and struggle are contrasted with quieter passages of introspection, creating a gradual emotional movement toward self-discovery.
The same creative direction informed the marketing campaign. Posters, trailers, music-led promotional material, and social content were designed to extend the film’s philosophical tone while making it accessible to streaming and digital audiences. The project also supports Spark’s CGI and Visual Effects portfolio as a studio-owned narrative work.
Developed the central premise, emotional arc, screenplay, dialogues, and character journey around the search for peace.
Coordinated cast, crew, cinematography approach, production logistics, and the independent filmmaking workflow.
Captured performances and cinematic moments designed to express struggle, isolation, reflection, and hope.
Shaped the final narrative rhythm through editing, visual effects, music integration, color treatment, and finishing.
Created posters, trailer assets, music-video material, social content, and publication support for streaming and YouTube release.
Anant became a creatively significant milestone for Spark VFX Studios because the company conceived, produced, finished, and marketed the film as its own original work. The project brought storytelling, direction, cinematography, editing, visual effects, music, design, and digital promotion into one unified production.
The film was made available on Disney+ Hotstar for approximately one year, giving the independent production exposure through a major streaming platform. It was later released on YouTube, where it could continue reaching a broader digital audience.
The project helped position Spark VFX Studios as a complete filmmaking and storytelling partner, not only a visual-effects or post-production studio.
