The main opening film needed to do more than begin the event—it had to introduce the people at its heart. Ice Tours and Travels engaged Spark VFX Studios to produce the opening AV for the HCL Achievers League, a corporate recognition event celebrating its leading performers.
The sequence featured the event’s achievers in live-action footage. Instead of placing them against a conventional physical set, Spark developed a fully computer-generated 3D LED room and composited every performer into the virtual environment.
The project was fundamentally a live-action VFX production. Through on-set supervision, virtual-set development, and detailed 3D animation and visual effects services, Spark created a polished introduction designed for the event’s main screen.
A green screen performance became a seamless virtual stage built to introduce HCL’s achievers with cinematic presence.

Live-Action VFX Production Challenges
The principal challenge was ensuring that the green screen shoot would provide footage suitable for the planned virtual environment. Camera angles, lighting, performer positioning, and movement all needed to support the later compositing process.
Once filming was complete, each person had to be placed convincingly inside a CGI LED room that had never existed on set. Perspective, scale, shadows, color, reflections, and screen illumination needed to work together across every shot.
The virtual stage also had to look visually impressive without being mistaken for a real immersive installation. It was a CGI environment created specifically for the opening film and displayed as finished event content.

The objective was to create the main opening AV for the Achievers League and give each featured achiever a strong, polished introduction.
The project needed to:
- Introduce the event’s principal achievers with clarity and visual impact.
- Transform green screen footage into a seamless virtual-stage sequence.
- Maintain believable integration between the performers and CGI environment.
- Give the opening reel a premium corporate-event aesthetic.
- Deliver finished VFX content suitable for presentation on the main event screen.
Our Process And Workflow
Early coordination between the shoot and post-production teams created a stronger foundation for seamless VFX compositing.
Shivam Gupta supervised the green screen shoot on behalf of Spark VFX Studios. Working directly with the director, director of photography, and production crew, he helped align the shoot with the requirements of the planned VFX treatment.
This involvement was important because the final environment would be created entirely in post-production. Camera framing, performer placement, lighting, and movement had to provide a reliable foundation for the later composite.
Following the shoot, Spark studied the footage and developed the compositing approach. The team designed a three-dimensional LED stage structured like a futuristic room, with digital display surfaces surrounding the featured performers.
The live-action plates were then extracted from the green screen and integrated into the CGI set. Perspective matching, color treatment, simulated LED illumination, contact shadows, reflections, and edge refinement helped each person feel naturally present inside the virtual stage. The final AV was optimized for event-screen playback as part of Spark’s broader marketing content design capabilities.

Achievers League. Each featured achiever appeared within the same purpose-built 3D LED room, giving the sequence a consistent visual language and stronger cinematic presence.
The result demonstrated the value of connecting on-set decisions with post-production planning. Because Spark participated during the shoot, the VFX team could develop the virtual set around the recorded camera perspectives and create a more convincing final composite.
Rather than relying on a physical LED room or an immersive installation, the project used VFX to create the entire stage digitally. This allowed the event team to present a large-scale visual concept through one polished opening film.
