Bathroom fittings are often judged by their external design, but their performance depends on what happens behind the wall, beneath the ceramic surface, or inside the plumbing system. These concealed processes are difficult to explain through product photographs, printed manuals, or conventional live-action videos.
Spark VFX Studios partnered with an agency representing Johnson Bathware to create four purpose-driven 3D installation and demonstration videos. The series covered a diverter, wall-hung WC, basin mixer, and smart wall-hung WC.
The purpose was not simply to create attractive product visuals. It was to make invisible technical information visible. Through 3D animation, walls could become transparent, internal components could be isolated, and each connection could be presented in the correct sequence.
The resulting content gave plumbers, technicians, dealers, sales teams, and customers a clearer understanding of how the products were installed and how they worked. Bathware installation depends heavily on components hidden behind walls, beneath ceramic fixtures, and inside plumbing systems. Once installed, these connections become impossible to see, making them difficult to explain through photographs, printed manuals, or conventional live-action videos.
This created a communication gap between the manufacturer and the people responsible for selling, installing, or purchasing the products. Plumbers needed to understand the correct fitting sequence, dealers needed to explain functionality, and customers needed confidence in how the products worked.
The challenge was therefore not simply to produce high-quality visuals. It was to reveal concealed installation processes without physically cutting products apart or constructing multiple demonstration bathrooms.
3D animation was necessary because it allowed walls to disappear, internal components to separate, and complex connections to be viewed from otherwise impossible camera angles. Every product could be demonstrated clearly while maintaining correct scale, placement, and installation context.
The objective was to create a visual communication system that made Johnson Bathware’s products easier to understand, install, demonstrate, and sell.
Through 3D animation, the videos needed to show not only what each finished product looked like, but also what happened behind and inside it. This allowed the diverter, wall-hung WC, basin mixer, and smart wall-hung WC to be explained from component assembly through final operation.

The purpose of using 3D animation was not visual spectacle. It was to remove technical confusion, improve product understanding, and help every audience make more informed decisions.
Production began with a detailed study of the four products: the diverter, wall-hung WC, basin mixer, and smart wall-hung WC. Technical references and CAD files were reviewed to understand every component, fixing point, connection, internal mechanism, and installation dependency.
The product assets were then optimized and refined in Blender 3D. Accurate materials were developed for ceramic, chrome, metal, plastic, and concealed structural parts. Bathroom environments were created to show how each fitting related to walls, plumbing lines, mounting systems, and surrounding fixtures.
The visual approach was shaped around instruction. Instead of treating the bathroom as a fixed environment, 3D animation allowed the team to control what the audience could see at each moment. Walls could be removed, sections could become transparent, and internal components could be separated without disrupting the installation sequence.
Close-up views explained smaller connections, while wider shots established product placement inside the bathroom. Components were introduced one at a time to prevent information overload. The pacing gave viewers enough time to understand each action before moving to the next stage.
The smart wall-hung WC required additional attention because its installation involved both concealed structural elements and advanced product features. Animation helped explain these systems without requiring physical disassembly or complicated live-action setups.
Draft sequences were reviewed with the client-side team to verify product positioning, installation order, and technical clarity. Feedback was incorporated before final rendering, ensuring that visual polish always supported the instructional goal.
The finished videos became part of a wider marketing content design approach—using 3D animation not merely to display products, but to improve how they are understood, demonstrated, and sold.

The completed series gave Johnson Bathware a clearer way to explain four technically different products. Processes that would normally remain hidden behind walls or inside fittings became visible, sequential, and easier to understand.
For plumbers and technicians, the videos provided practical visual guidance on product placement, component relationships, and installation order. For dealers and sales teams, they became demonstration tools that could explain product functionality without requiring a physical installation at every interaction.
Customers could also understand what they were purchasing beyond the external appearance. By seeing how each product was installed and operated, buyers gained a stronger sense of its functionality and engineering.
